Meela was founded by former Lyft and Microsoft product manager & business-builder, Josh Sach.
Josh has a deeply personal connection to Meela's mission. His firsthand experience with his family members' struggle with loneliness and medical decline motivated him to design the first iteration of Meela. The overwhelmingly positive reception from the senior living industry inspired Josh to take the bold step to depart Lyft in 2023 to pursue Meela full-time.
Josh's work with senior living teams is grounded in compassion and a profound sense of duty. He listens closely, designs with intention, and stays laser-focused on driving exceptional outcomes for residents and caregivers.
